Like most "watch fanatics" I was fascinated by them from an early age. The first watch I bought to sell was a broken TAG Heuer F1 at 15 years old. I repaired it and made more on that watch than my friends did working weekend jobs for a month. Needless to say I just kept going from that day. My "near miss" was when I was 18 and the under bidder on a Rolex Comex that is worth over 10 times more today than the £10k I went to. At the time this was every penny I had in the world. I was taught my early watch repair skills by my late Grandfather & then by a Rolex Trained Watchmaker.

Having studied Dentistry at University I soon decided I love the intricate work but not the mouths they were in as much! I switched into the automotive industry and worked my way up to a senior level in Retail. Using this lifetime knowledge & experience I have launched WatchDepartment.co.uk
